Future solutions for SMEs and modern dairy businesses

Work with the best

With over 30 years of experience working in the dairy and energy industries, Gabriel has worked with a variety of farms, schools and other institutions Australia-wide. He is well known throughout the Australian dairy industry and has an intimate understanding of its needs and workings; from the grass roots dairy farmer through to the Government and commercial sectors.

Gabriel has trained farmers, students, veterinarians, and milk harvesting technicians in areas such as mastitis control, milk quality, dairy hygiene, refrigeration, milking machine performance, and their inter-relationships. Gabriel has a Graduate Diploma in Agribusiness and various other industry-related qualifications and has completed a Master of Engineering (Sustainable Energy) through RMIT University.

“Gab’s unwavering dedication to not only see the job through to the end, but to make sure we achieve the goals that we set in the first place is first class.
He is one of the smartest people we know in the industry right now, and his no-bullshit attitude makes sure the farmer gets what we actually need, not what the salesman are trying to sell”

Energy Efficiency

For the last 18 years Gabriel has focussed on energy efficiency and sustainable energy technologies and how they may be best utilised in the dairy industry. At the practical level he has developed a dairy farm energy assessment tool for the industry, trains and mentors energy assessors and provides advice on evaluating technology options. In recent years Gabriel has successfully used this same approach and helped rural businesses navigate this new field of energy management.

Dairy Hygiene

Gabriel’s passion about on-farm milk quality began as a government scientist undertaking research into novel teat disinfectants and dry cow therapies.

His focus turned to dairy farm hygiene when he was the National Aftermarket and Service Manager for DeLaval Australia and for 8 years owned and managed a milking machine dealership (Dairy Equipment Specialists).

He had key involvement in the invention, development and commercialisation of the Yard Blaster yard wash system, the company he still owns today. The Yard Blaster has become the preferred method of cleaning dairy yards in Australia.
